Flipping the Switch
Alison and Simon lost their daughter to a careless driver who escaped serious punishment. Decades later, at a beach resort in Thailand, they meet other tourists who have suffered similar losses of people close to them, by death or suicide, including as a result of child abuse.
When the group learns the careless driver has killed another child, they discuss if killing a person is ever justified, and if they could do it. Conversation about how far they might go to avenge or protect children leads to a series of life-altering events for all of them.
Content Warning: The main characters have all lost loved ones who died through various means including suicide and as a result of child abuse, some of which is depicted.
