‘Our Stories Matter’ is a Digitally Lit initiative focused on amplifying Nova Scotia’s stories beyond the province's borders. 

 

Beginning the summer of 2023, Nova Scotia’s Creative Industries Fund has committed to support the empowerment of Digitally Lit’s creative, diverse group of Atlantic youth in their efforts to champion and celebrate Nova Scotia’s stories with readers in other geographic areas. Combining their critical and creative thinking skills, Digitally Lit youth will find innovative ways to share Nova Scotia's stories with greater regional, national, and international audiences, and in doing so, support the export capacity of local arts sectors.

As always, Digitally Lit will continue to promote transliteracy while engaging and empowering the next generation to embrace local storytelling.
