Kennedy died in Dallas. Many were there to film the president, but Helena Storozhenko snapped a photo on November 22, 1963, that would have changed everything. Then she vanished. Until now. From her death bed in Odessa, the Babushka Lady provides a piece of evidence that will send Malloy and network television host Jack Doyle on a desperate search for the truth. has summoned Malloy and finally reveals what she witnessed in Dealey Plaza. Malloy and Doyle need each other to solve a decades-old mystery, and to stop an assassin who is driven by the same evil which changed the world so tragically – so long ago. It all comes down to one place, one time, and one bullet as they race to prevent history from repeating itself – more than fifty years after a president was brutally slain – and Helena Storozhenko was The Last Witness.

Last Witness by Glen Carter is an absolute stellar read!

When President Kennedy was shot on November 22nd, 1963, nobody would have thought one woman's photograph of the scene would change everything for Ed Malloy more than 50 years later…

Last Witness by Glen Carter, published by Breakwater books, is a great read. I have always been very fascinated by the assassination of JFK, and this book definitely satisfies that fascination! The path this story follows is well crafted, and the way the characters meet up and the story unfolds is done well. I myself found that sometimes when the first character you stumble upon conveniently knows who you’re looking for is a little unrealistic, but at the same time this is a fictional story, and you want to keep the pace going so I understand.

I really enjoyed reading this book. The action and suspense of this book are enough to keep you reading. Books of this type are what I like to read, and because I have read a lot of conspiracy around the death of JFK I was bound to read this book eventually!

Anyone who likes to read historical fiction, books on conspiracies, and mystery solving novels should have this on their list.

I recommend this book.
