No I’m just kidding, he just wants a good glass of Scotch and some peace in his life. One For The Rocks is a very informative intelligent story set in Newfoundland. The plots, the different characters, it was all really interesting and captivating to read, the wording for things, the way that Sebastian spoke or the way that the author wrote the story sounded very intelligent and well thought out and well researched. Although this was a very well written, informative novel with a good plot and good characters, personally it wasn’t one hundred percent my cup of tea. I’m still on that journey to find that book that makes me go out of my way to only read it. But that doesn’t deduct points from the author or mean that it is not a really good book to read. Every book has a person. I'm Just not that person.

“One for the rock” by Kevin Major was a great book that I’m glad I got to read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 for me.
This book was set in Newfoundland, it’s the only Atlantic province I haven’t visited but the sensory details made me able to imagine it vividly and definitely made me want to visit.
The story started out a little slow and was a little hard to get in to at first. Then the mystery started and I was invested! It was so fun to try and figure out the mystery, though every time I tried there another plot twist! The characters were well thought out and their backgrounds made them all seem suspicious and have motive.
This was a perfect read for summer and I’m glad that I got to read it. If you’re looking for a great mystery with a good plot this is definitely the book for you!

Ce livre se déroule à Terre-Neuve, c'est la seule province de l'Atlantique que je n'ai pas visitée, mais les détails sensoriels m'ont permis de l'imaginer de manière vivante et m'ont définitivement donné envie de visiter.
L'histoire a commencé un peu lentement et était un peu difficile à comprendre au début. Puis le mystère a commencé et j'ai été investi ! C'était tellement amusant d'essayer de comprendre le mystère, même si chaque fois que j'essayais là-bas, une autre tournure de l'intrigue! Les personnages étaient bien pensés et leurs origines les faisaient tous paraître suspects et motivés.
C'était une lecture parfaite pour l'été et je suis heureux de l'avoir lu. Si vous cherchez un grand mystère avec une bonne intrigue, ce livre est définitivement fait pour vous !
