Kira’s Secret

Kira has a secret that her family is keeping from her. When Kira defies her parents rules she starts to figure the secret out with her friend Cody.
Kira’s secret was a wonderful book in my perspective. Kira is an amazing main character and I really connected to Kira whenever she said she needed a Harry Potter break from reality. I also really liked Cody and how supportive he was with Kira’s secret and how he helped to cover up her disappearance. I couldn’t put the book down and I read it from start to finish in two hours. It was a nice quick read and I can’t wait to read the next book in the trilogy.

I recommend this book.

Kira’s Secret

Regardless of Kira’s father being a fisherman and their house lying close to the harbour, Kira has always had a strong bond to the ocean. However strong that bond was, her mother prevents her from being near the water. One day Kira chose to break her parents' prohibitions and go swimming in the harbours waters, since she was upset by their parenting choices. Kiras discovers a fresh revelation or secret that her parents have been hiding from her ever since they adopted her as a kid after she rebels against them. With the aid of her buddy Cody, Kira sets out on a new adventure to discover the truth about her biological family and discover some of the mythical aquatic animals that live there. But, torn between wanting to find her birth family and being loyal to her adoptive parents
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, which was genuinely fantastic. I think the reason I liked this book so much is that it discussed various mythical sea animals that lurk and coexist with us along Kira's voyage rather than just mermaids. Even though it was fascinating to learn about people's perspectives on mermaids, I was happy to learn more about other species. And that's something I fancy knowing more about.

I recommend this book.

Kira's Secret

🌊The book Kira’s Secret is about a young girl named Kira who mysteriously finds out one day that she’s a mermaid 🧜🏽‍♀️ Whenever she is fully immersed in saltwater, her legs turn into a beautiful golden tail with a pink fin and purple tips, her hands become webbed, and she has excellent underwater vision. 😎 I want to be a mermaid now, not gonna lie. 😄 Once she finds out that she’s a mermaid, she goes searching for answers about her past. Why was she adopted? Who were her parents? How come she was living on land all this time and not out at sea? 🌊 This book is a great read, and I’d say it’s for kids ages 8-12. But we aren’t gonna talk about how I read it, and I’m 13 . I really enjoyed reading Kira’s Secret because it didn’t just talk about mermaids, It also talked about a lot of the other mythical sea creatures down in the deep blue sea. But then again, maybe they aren’t so mythical after all. 😃

This book is a fun adventure, well written and easy to understand, I loved this book!

I recommend this book.
