Created by former literacy teacher Jeannie Hillman, A Very Silly Alphabet is intended to stretch the idea of an alphabet book past introducing and promoting familiarity with letters toward helping children develop phonetic, as well as phonic, awareness in a light-hearted, fun context.

The book is full of fun poems to represent the different letters in the alphabet. It also has lots of strange and silly art to go with the bizarre poems.
The book was really funny and it made me and my brother laugh a lot. The poems were funny and I absolutely loved the art, especially the singing sausage.
