Disconnect to Connect. Here are some of the ways I disconnect from technology to connect more to myself and to others...

ReadšŸ“š

Instead of playing a video game or watching TV, why not pick up a book and imagine your own movie or show from that book. Iā€™m currently reading the Reluctant Detective By Finley Martin.

Draw Or Make A Card For SomeonešŸ“ƒšŸ–

Cards might look prettier bought, but they mean more when you make them yourself. If you don't have someone to give a card to, try sketching your thoughts into drawings.

Meditate šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø

Take a second to yourself and relax. Let your mind, body, and heart be in the moment. Clear your head and just breathe, in and out. Preferably in a quiet area.

WritingāœšŸ“

Try taking notice of your feelings, recognizing how things make you feel, or just noticing the differences in your moods. Or try writing down something that interests you, or write a fun little short story.

Go For A Walk OutsidešŸš¶ā€ā™€ļøšŸŒ³

If the weather isn't so bad (or even if it is) go outside and walk around the block, or through the woods for a little bit.

These are just some of the ways I like to Disconnect to Connect, let me know what things you like doing that don't involve technology. šŸ‘©ā€šŸ’»šŸ¤³šŸ‘Øā€šŸ’» šŸ¤³
